Custom Landscaped Side-Yard

Designing a local landscape was an unmatched creative experience.

 

Design Objective:

 

We've recently embarked on an special project that showcases the transformative power of landscape design in small spaces; in this case, when applied to an unused side yard. This was our first concept design for this landscape, organized around hardscape and plant specifications. More to come with this design.

The ability to pre-visualize the placement of flowering plants and flowing groundcovers is invaluable, and often difficult to imagine without some form of visual assistance. Thankfully, 3D rendering provides a rapid and effective solution for meeting these communication needs.

It took some time to accurately reproduce the lean-to greenhouse from just a few images and a couple dimensions off the manufacturer's website. I love that this design came out so well, really makes the extra effort feel worthwhile!
